Terms of Service

AISmartPrep · Last updated: September 30, 2026

1. The service

AISmartPrep is an educational study and exam-preparation platform for professional certifications and licenses — currently offered as VTNE Prep: Vet Tech Exam + AI for veterinary technician exam preparation. These Terms apply to all AISmartPrep exam editions. The platform provides practice questions, flashcards, exam simulation, and optional AI study assistance; all study questions, quizzes, exam simulations, and flashcards are free to use. Optional one-time purchases add AI features.

2. Educational use only

Content is for study and educational purposes. It is not veterinary medical advice and must not be used for diagnosing or treating animals. AI responses can be incomplete or incorrect — always verify clinical information against current professional standards.

3. Acceptable use

• Use the AI features only for lawful study purposes.
• Do not attempt to disrupt, abuse, or reverse-engineer the service, or use it to generate unlawful content.
• If you use your own API key (BYOK), you are responsible for your usage and charges with that provider.

4. Accounts

You must be 18 or older to create an account and use AISmartPrep. You are responsible for your account credentials. You can delete your account at any time — see our account deletion page.

5. Purchases

AI Exam Pass ($39, six months of built-in AI) and BYOK Unlock ($15, connect your own provider key) are one-time purchases — nothing renews automatically. BYOK provider usage is billed separately; their prices, limits, and availability apply. Purchases are processed by Google Play; refunds follow Google Play's policies.

6. Fair use of built-in AI

To keep the built-in AI sustainable for every student, fair-use limits apply and are shown before purchase (for example, daily and monthly message counts per mode). BYOK users have no such limits because usage is billed to their own key.

7. Disclaimer and liability

The service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee exam results. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the previous twelve months.

8. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page before they take effect; continued use of AISmartPrep after they take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
