Delete Your Account

You can delete your AISmartPrep account and all associated data at any time — or request deletion of specific data without closing your account. Here's how:

Option 1 — In the app (recommended, fastest)

  1. Open AISmartPrep and sign in.
  2. Go to Settings.
  3. Scroll to the Delete Account section.
  4. Choose Schedule deletion (30 days) or Delete immediately, confirm with your password, and you're done.

Option 2 — By email

Email contact@aismartprep.com from your registered email address with the subject "Account Deletion Request". We will process it within a few business days.

Option 3 — Delete specific data without deleting your account

You can ask us to delete specific data — for example your AI chat history or your custom flashcards — while keeping your account and progress. Email contact@aismartprep.com from your registered email address with the subject "Data Deletion Request" and tell us what you'd like removed. We process these requests within 30 days.

What happens next
  • Scheduled deletion: your account is removed automatically after 30 days. Simply sign back in before then to cancel.
  • Immediate deletion: your account is removed right away, permanently.

What gets deleted

Your profile, settings, API keys, flashcards, quiz history, study statistics, and AI chat history. Some records may be retained where the law requires it (for example, transaction records for tax purposes) — and only for as long as the law requires; everything else is removed from live systems, with residual backup copies cleared through our hosting provider's standard backup rotation.
